80% of 50 yards is 40 yards in 6 seconds.40(2) = 80 yards in 6(2) = 12 seconds at the same 80% speed

Answer: 12 seconds

6 x 1/.8 = 30/4 = 7.5 seconds to run 50 yards at 80% speed

80 yards is 8/5 times as far. 8/5 times 7.5 = 12 seconds
