Morphemes are a unit of language that carry meaning. Thus, a letter on its own is not often a morpheme. There are three in the word misconception.
The first is "mis-" which adds a connotation of against or wrong
The second is "-concep(t)-" which is the base of the word and carries much of the meaning
The third is "-tion" which changes the meaning of the base-word into a slightly different concepts.
