Concreteness (or Concreteness Training) can be utilized as part of an overall plan to help an individual suffering from anxiety or depressive symptoms. Concreteness is a way to help a person switch from negative thoughts to more positive thoughts. While helpful it is not effective as a 'stand alone' therapy. In combination with exercise, nutrition, counseling and medication (if needed) it can be a valuable tool.
