The probability of selecting a gumball on the first attempt is 4/10 or 2/5.
Because we replace the gumball back into the bag, the probability of drawing a gumball on the second attempt is also 4/10 or 2/5.
If we want to know the probability of drawing a gumball the first time AND drawing a gumball the second time we multiply the two probabilities.
