Question

You have a bag of candy filled with pieces that are all the same size and shape. 4 are gumballs and 6 are chocolate. You draw a gumball out, decide you don't like it, put it back, and select another piece of candy.

What is the probability of selecting a Gumball on your first attempt and Gumball on your second attempt? Leave your answer as a fraction. No need to reduce the fraction.

Since there are 4 gumballs and 10 total pieces of candy, the probability of drawing a gumball is 4/10. On the second pick, the probability is still the same since there are still 4 gumballs and still 10 pieces of candy.
