multiply 2nd equation by 5 and 1st by 2, to eliminate F

10F +50B = 18

10F +6B = 11.4 subtract

44B = 6.6 divide by 11

B =.6/4 =.3/2 = $0.15 = 15 cents for bubblegun

2F = 3.6 -10B = 3.6 - 1.5 = 2.1

F = 2.1/2 = $1.05 for fudge

You could have done substitution, but eliminating one variable by multiplication and subtraction is easier
