- An oral suspension must be reconstituted. The dose is to be 400mg/tsp, and the powder comes as a 1 gram vial with a powder volume of 7.3mL. How much water must you add?
- A patient is to receive 26 units of regular insulin in the AM and 32 units in the
evening. Regular insulin comes as U-100. How many total mLs does the patient receive in one day?
- The label of a vial states that it contains 500mg in 10mL. You know that 9.6mL of water was added. What is the powder volume?
