(x+4)^2 = x^2 + 64
x^2 + 8x + 16 = x^2 + 64
8x = 64-16 = 48
x = 48/8 = 6
x=6
increase x by 4, x+4) = 10
6^2 = 36
10^2 = 100
100-36 = 64
