Relatable tutor who makes language learning fun!
Hi Edwin,
The subjunctive verbs in this song are: detenga (detener: stop or hold back), quede (quedar: stay--this verb also appears later in the song in the third person plural subjuntive, queden), venga (venir: come), llegue (llegar: arrive), digas (decir: say), quieras (querer: want), vayas (ir: go)
The song is about how the singer will be there for their loved one who is suffering through cancer. They say they will be their loved one's shield when the battle comes, they will be their strength so nothing holds them back, they will be their air when they are out of breath. There are other examples in the lyrics as well.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions I can answer in a tutoring session.
