=5^2h/3 = 25h/3
h=6, then V =50 cm^3
Unless the 6 in the diagram refers to the side of the pyriamid from the base's corner to the top of the pyriamid
then there's a right triangle with 6 as the hypotenuse, h= one side and half the diagonal of the base as the other side. the diagonal = 5sqr2 d/2 = (5/2)sqr2
h^2 = 36-50/4 = 36-12.5 = 23.5
h=sqr23.5 =about 4.85. Then V=4.85(25/3) = about 40.4. since the 4 answers have 50 as the smallest choice, it would be the likely exact answer, or "best" answer regardless. But 6 cm seems to mean the height.
