the answer is A.
x,y, and z represent the number of pounds of each fruit. If you bought x pounds of bananas at $1 per pound the total amount you would spend on bananas is $1*x =x
similarly if you bought y pounds of mangoes at $3 per pound the total amount you would spend on mangoes is $3*y= 3y
and likewise for apples it would be 2z
total cost of all three fruits is $45
So you have to add all three costs and equate it to 45.
