The short answer is: More information is required to make a diagnosis of F52.4 Premature Ejaculation. This diagnosis includes a pattern of ejaculation before the individual desires. However, in order to diagnose David, a clinician would need to know how long this has been occurring, if it is generalized or situational, and specifically when his ejaculation occurs (30 seconds to one minute, 15-30 seconds, or at the onset of sexual activity). Once these are discussed, a diagnosis can be made.
