* 4(g+6)=36 is how we would write our problem out
*In order to find g, we need to divide 36 by 4. The answer to this is 9, but 9 isn't g, we have to remember that we still have to minus the 6 inside the parentheses (because we are doing the opposite in order to find g).
*If we minus 6 from 9, we get 3. If you put 3 in as g, then 3+6=9 and 9 times 4 equals 36, so 3 is our answer.
