For Question #1, the set that is quadratic would definitely be Set B, because if you square or raise to the 2nd power each of the y terms you get (22 =4, 32=9, 42=16, 52=25, and 62=36). Set A is linear (x is increasing by 2 and y is increasing by 5, set C there is no pattern between x and y, and set D is a cubic set meaning anytime you take an x value and raise it to the third power, it will always give you y. (23=8, 33=27, 43=64).
For Question #2, the answer would Set D because since -3 is a real number and 4i is a complex (imaginary) number, where the real axis is the x-axis, and the imaginary axis is the y axis, set D clearly only matches this particular complex number because you go left 3 units because it is negative on the x axis, and go up 4 units because 4i is a positive number on the y-axis.
The person above made a mistake for denoting 4i as a negative number, it is in fact a positive number because of the addition sign in front of the imaginary number. I hope this helps :)
