38X -14X = 216(16) - 216(14) = 216(2)

24X = 216(2)

6X = 108

X = 108/6 = 18 mL of 38%

216-X = 216-18 = 198 mL of 14%

Because 14 is much closer to 16 than 38 is, you'll need far more of 14 than 16% solution

14 is 2 from 16. 38 is 22 from 16

22/2 = 11. You'll need 11 times as much 14% as 38%
