16 years online, 464 former SAT problems drilled down
J - current age of Jen
O - current age of Olivia
J = O + 28
(J + 12) = 2(O + 12)
(O + 28 + 12) = 2O + 24
O = 16
Then J = 44
Check:
16 + 12 = 28
44 + 12 = 56
56/28 = 2

16 years online, 464 former SAT problems drilled down
J - current age of Jen
O - current age of Olivia
J = O + 28
(J + 12) = 2(O + 12)
(O + 28 + 12) = 2O + 24
O = 16
Then J = 44
Check:
16 + 12 = 28
44 + 12 = 56
56/28 = 2
Jen = Olivia + 28
Jen + 12 = 2 * Olivia therefore, Jen = 2 * Olivia - 12
Olivia + 28 = 2 * Olivia - 12
Olivia + 40 = 2 * Olivia (by subtracting 12 from each side of the equation)
40 = Olivia (by subtracting Olivia from each side of the equation
Therefore, Jen = 68 (Jen is Oliva + 28) and Olivia = 40
Note, in 12 years, Jen will be 80, which is twice Olivia's age now
J=Jen's age
D (daughter) = Oliiva's age
J = D +28
J+12= 2D
Subtract: 12 = D - 28
D = 40 J=68
