The y-intercept is the point where the graph crosses the y-axis, at this point x = 0.
So, in a table of ordered pair, the y-intercept will be where x = 0.

The place where the line intercepts the y-axis would be whenever x = 0. When the value of x is 0 you are on the y-axis! (Also, when the value of y is 0 you are on the x-axis.) So as an example, if you have a point (0,2) in your ordered pair set, then the y-intercept is 2. If you don't have any points (ordered pairs) with x=0, then you might have to plot the line and figure it out...01/25/21
