IF you mean tan(theta) = square root of 3, then theta = 60 degrees = pi/3 radians or 240 degrees = 4pi/3 rad.
the angles form a 1-sqr3- 2 right triangle. tangent is opposite side over adjacent side. It's positive in quadrants I and III. In quadrant I, theta is 60 degrees or 60+180= 240 degrees or the equivalent in radians
