The question doesn't make any sense, I'm afraid. There was never any U.S. invasion of China. During the Opium wars, there was a colonial invasion of China, but that was done by the British and the French, and the U.S. was not involved. During, and just before WWII, the U.S. helped the Chinese government, by invitation, to expel the invading Japanese Army. All U.S. forces then left at the end of the war. During the Korean War five years later, General Douglas MacArthur briefly considered crossing the Yalu River into China to ensure complete destruction of the North Korean forces, but the plan was abandoned when the Chinese army entered the conflict on the side of the North Koreans first.
