i ran out of space.. Inches between the last and first hook and the end of the rack. All hooks have to be equally placed on the coat rack and have to be the same distance apart from each other

If we place four hooks spaced 7" apart, the overall length will 21", with 3.125" from the edge to hook 1, and 3.125" from hook 4 to edge of the board.
