asked 12/28/20Looking for an app
I can’t draw very well, I like to make cartoony comics, and would like to post them, but I have a hard time drawing perfect circles and lines. So can anyone tell me of a few apps or computer softwares (Preferably free) that will smooth out those lines automatically? My comics are cartoony, so I don’t need any perfect details or anything. I just need my lines smoothed out more.

Procreate can do that for you. If yuo draw a line or circle by hand and then hold the stylus still the shape you just drew will become perfectly straight or perfectly round.
But just to let you know, I prefer to see hand drawn imperfect shapes. And many other people prefer that as well. That is the allure of hand drawn art. There are no straight line or perfect circles in nature. There is a time and a place for geometric shapes when you are drawing a car or a machine. But for organic people or animals it might be worth it to draw freehand. You can do it.

Gimp is definitely a choice and its free!
Hi Jeremy,
I would recommend checking out Sketchbook by Autodesk, it's completely free. In addition to the many awesome tools it has, it has a circle and ellipse drawing tool and a cool function where you draw a line and it smooths it for you and you can set up how much you want it to smooth your lines. You also can pair this line smoothing tool with the built-in mirror function, what you draw on one side of the screen gets mirrored to the other. So that line that you drew perfectly for one side of an object gets drawn perfectly for the other side of that object.
You can get it for free from https://www.sketchbook.com
After downloading this program, I'd suggest watching intro videos on youtube before using it so you can get an idea of what the program is like.
I hope this helps,
Julian
