The important thing when multiplying or dividing positive and negative numbers, is to pay attention to how many negative (-) signs there are in the equation.
For example, in a you have have four negative numbers, -9, -8, -7, and -4. Because you have an even number of negatives, the answer will be positive. (This is because two negative numbers cancel out.)
On the other hand, in b you have one negative number, -3/5. Because you have an odd number of negatives, the answer will also be negative.
Once you understand odds will be negative and evens will be positive, it is easy to go down the list and find the positive solutions. I’d recommend trying on your own at this point, but I have included the answers below:
