'x' can be any value on the number line, positive or negative so the Domain would be (-∞,∞). When examining the Range, looking at multiples of ten, positive and negative, help illuminate what the equation will look like. As 'x' goes further negative, so does 'y.' As 'x' goes further positive, 'y' follows suit. This shows that there is no value that neither 'x' nor 'y' cannot be. In other words, 'x' can be any number and so can 'y'.
