I need help translating this algebraic equation I’ve been stuck on it forever :/

5x-20 =14 +4x

x = 34

unless you meant the "difference" as 4-x, then

5(4-x) = 14+4x

20-5x = 14+4x

9x = 6

x =6/9 = 2/3

since you used all integers, odds are you meant the first, so x=34
