Math calculus question

Suppose that  f '(x) = √ x− 2/x2 for x > 0, and that f (1) = 1. Find  f (4). (b) Suppose that  f '(x) = 2/ 1+x2 and that f (0) = 3. Find  f (1).

Thanks for the explanation. I had a question. Why did you use the trigonometric function for the second part? I tried typing it in and my teacher said I was not allowed to use a trig function in my answer.
