Hey there! This kind of construction can be a little tricky, but hopefully I can offer some guidance.
- ¿Nos vas a preparar la cena? Sí, se la voy a preparar.
- For this sentence, it's saying 'Are you going to prepare dinner for us?' The affirmative response would be 'Yes, I'm going to prepare it for y'all'. The 'se' refers to y'all (or you guys), the la refers to 'la cena', and voy a preparar is your verb!
- ¿Ellos me tienen que pagar el dinero? Sí, te lo tienen que pagar.
- This sentence is asking 'Do they have to pay me the money?' to which the response would be 'Yes, they have to pay it to you'. This is where we get the te (referring to you) and lo (refering to 'el dinero')
- ¿Les está leyendo un libro a los niños? Sí, se lo está leyendo.
- Here, it's saying 'Is the mom reading a book to the children?', to which the response would be 'Yes, she's reading it to them.' The 'se' refers to them, being the kids, and the 'lo' refers to 'el libro'
- ¿Te saco una foto? Sí, me la saca.
- The sentence is asking 'Should I take a photo of you?', to which the response would be 'Yes, take one of me'. The 'me' refers to me, and the 'la' refers to the photograph, which is feminine.
- ¿Les debo dar una nota buena a ustedes? Sí, nos la debe dar.
- This sentence is asking 'Should I give a good grade to y'all?' to which the response would be, 'Yes, you should give it to us'. The 'nos' refers to us, and the 'la' refers to the good grade.
I hope this helps!!
