Let T be the temperature of a patient, in degrees Fahrenheit, during a 12-day illness, and is given by T(t)=101.6+3sin(π/8 x t)

What are the minimum and maximum temperatures during the illness and on which day, t, did each temperature occur?

Look at the term 3sin(p/8 x t) The value of sin goes from -1 to +1 so this term goes from a maximum of 1 to a minimum of -1 so minimum temp is 101.6 -3= 98.6 and maximum temp is 101.6 + 3 = 104.6
