I solved this before seeing it had already been answered. I got the same as Edward B, but I'll add my table, in case it helps.
If I write what is explained, it would be a = b/c2 in its simplest form. "a varies directly as b and inversely as the square of c."
But it says nothing of a potential coefficient in the equation. I kept this in mind when substituting the actual values for b and c, and discovered my answer was "1." To make it 229, I need N to be 229. Then using the equation a = 229b/c2. Then I put the new numbers in to get the result Edward B. got: 54.96.
