A computer programmer works 40 hours per week. What is an equation that relates the number of weeks w that the programmer works and the number of hours that the programmer spends working?

1. Write an equation that shows the relationship between the number of weeks and the hours the programmer spends. 
2. How many hours the programmer works if he works for 3,5,7,8 weeks.

W = number of weeks

H = number of hours worked

so H = 40 HR/W * W

If W = 3, 5, 7, 8 (substitute value of W to get H, e.g., for W = 3, H = 40 * 3 = 120)
