Ellipse based question

How do I find the intersection of an ellipse with coordinate axes? actually my equation is (x+3)^2/9 + (y-1)^2/4 = 1. Now in this whne I put up x=0 then y comes to be 3 but when I put up y=0 then I am getting two values of x both in negative. So which one to prefer. One is - 5.4…. And other is - 0.4…
