In Spain, and sometimes among Latin American elite, the informal "vosotros" is used to mean you (plural), in much the same way y'all or you guys is used in English. However, the vast majority of Latin Americans use the formal "ustedes" in both formal and informal contexts.

Vosotros - You
The familiar plural form vosotros is used only in Spain. Vosotros is informal, you can use it when talking to young people.

The pronoun "vosotros" is used in Spain, but you can also hear it in Argentines and some Colombians from the Cali region. It works like they in English. Spaniards use it to address more closely to their interlocutors, and "ustedes" are used for formal language. It is a summary, and it is a supplementary third person pronoun in plural that is used in audiences closer to the speaker.

Vosotros is the (informal) plural pronoun of “you/tú.” It is most commonly and frequently used in Spain; originating from the Latin word of “Vos.” Additionally, Vosotras would be the feminine plural pronoun. Vosotros can also be translated to mean “you two,” “you guys” and “you all/y’all.” In Latin America, usually solely “ustedes” is used, however in certain religious speech, Vosotros is minutely used in place of the English word “thou.” Utilizing Ustedes in Spain is very formal. So with familiar people, use Vosotros. When traveling to Spain, or speaking Castilian Spanish, it is important to have a good understanding of what Vosotros means and how to use it!
