Two functions or purposes of clothing/fashion that you think are particularly important in the world today. Explain why you think these functions or purposes are so important, and try to provide examples to support your arguments.

One function of clothing is for identify. Many groups of people can be identified today based on their clothing preferences. For example, the social elite prefer to wear clothing made from expensive brands. People in rural areas mainly chose rural brands of clothing. Another function of clothing/fashion is to show support for a cause. People purchase clothes to support their political party, movement, way of live, or shared interest.
