Hi there,
That's a great question!
Learning Spanish online is a great way to either get introduced to the language without having to travel or simply getting extra practice in the language to improve comprehension and fluency from the comfort of your home and with a flexible schedule.
Learning online can be just as engaging than in person. There are plenty of fun activities that can be done online such as movement based activities like a scavenger hunt, Simon Says, Follow the leader... as well as many other kind of activities such as Pictionary, Guess Who, memory Games, writing poetry and rhymes, creating stories in group or pairs by taking turns to continue the story line that the other person started, role playing real life situations such as phone calls, job interviews, restaurant dining, grocery shopping, having guided conversations by completing prompted questions and answers, participating in a debate...
There are many ways to make online learning fun. It all depends on the creativity being put into lesson planning and what each student finds interesting and motivating.
I hope this helps!
All my best,
Elisabet
