8x + 10 = 60 → 8x = 50 → x = 50/8 = 25/4 = 6.25

l = 2(6.25) + 5 = 12.50 + 5 = 17.50

w = 2(6.25) = 12.50

P = 2(17.50) + 2(12.50) = 35 + 25 = 60

The dimensions for the rectangle are 17.5 ft. by 12.5 ft.
