When talking or reading Spanish, it always helps to translate what the sentence is asking and think about who is being asked the question. After finding the subject of the question or statement, all you have to do is use the appropriate conjugation! Be sure to follow the rules for regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs.

In Spanish, we do not use subject pronouns the same way we do in English, so when you answer with WE read, you would omit the WE and simply say leemos. Spanish verb conjugations are ending oriented and there are 6 different forms. This can be confusing to English speakers so you can use the subject pronoun for clarity but it is important to learn that the correct way to say ¨I drink ¨ is simply ¨ Bebo¨ and not ¨Yo bebo.¨
