If the US average is 33.9%, then the US is in the second bracket (29.45-38.45). We are told to assume the other countries in the bracket have higher obesity than the US.
Therefore we know the other 3 countries are higher than the US.
There are five brackets that contain numbers that are all higher than the 33.9% of the US.
The sum of all the countries in those brackets :1+3+1+1+1=7
Add that to the 3 from the bracket the US is in and we get:3+7=10 countries who have a higher obesity rate than the US.
