f(4) = 16-16 = 0
f(3/2) = 9/4 - 4(3/2) = 9/4 - 6 = 9/4 - 24/4 = -15/4
f(q) = q^2 - 4a
f(t+4) = (t+4)^2 - 4(t+4) = (t+4) [ (t+4)-4] = (t+4)t = t(t+4) = t^2 + 4t
