writing college introduction for narrative speech

Introduction (All three sections in the introduction must be typed in complete sentences.)

My first job was working at Taco Bell. When I started working I was a little nervous until I received a little help and training on my first day. The position I was in was the Service Champion which means taking care of guests, taking orders, making sure the bathrooms are clean, and making sure the dining room is clean during the day.

Try to "grab" your listener with your first few lines, rather than just stating facts. Sometimes that's the hardest part of a narrative to write. In fact, I often write the beginning as my last step, once I'm clearer where my narrative is heading!
