Lets say she sold x no of T shirt
she $ 3 for each T shirt
for x no. of T-shirt she made 3x , and her expenses were $ 27
but her $51 her profit , so from above condition,
we can write the equation 3x- 27 = 51
adding 27 from both sides, we get,
3x = 51+ 27 - 78.
dividing by 3 on both sides,
x = 78/ 3 = 26
she sold 26 T - shirts...Answer now you can fill up the blanks 3x- 27 = 51
