How to better communicate math?
Hello. This question is directed to professionals who manage the site.
The Ask an Expert forum, although very easy to use, does not seem to offer the ability to typeset mathematics in an easy-to-read format. For example, it is very easy to ask and read answers to questions on the site: Mathematics Stack Exchange because the site allows the users to easily type with MathJax via the $$ notation.
I was wondering if something similar could be implemented for Wyzant Ask an Expert. Sometimes students will ask a question, and order of operations is not always clear. Also, this would make it easier for tutors to answer questions that are more technical.
Thanks!

Totally agree! I would argue that it's actually a useful skill to learn to communicate about math with words instead of notation, but I definitely agree that it makes it difficult to ask/answer questions.
