Get a permanent other phone number free?

Question

I am looking for another phone number free that is private for dating and other privacy concerns. 

Any apps / sites that are actually free! No Subscription?  

All the ones I see in the App Store for are “free” not

You could sign up for Google Voice. This is a free service where you will get a number to give out to people you do not want to have your cell phone number. Google Voice provides call forwarding and voicemail services to your cell phone. You can even call them using Google Voice from your phone. All the while your number remains private.
