Elementary Special Educator with a background in History and Writing
As a special educator, while we have a foundational approach to teaching and instructional techniques, each student is a unique learner. This is especially true in a tutoring setting. If it's a quick dive question that requires only a session or two, then a direct to the point approach is warranted. If the requirements of the students demands a more long term tutoring/teaching situation, part of the initial contact would be to assess the appropriate learning methods for each student.
