Top 5 2nd grade tutors

His 1st grade teacher said there was no way he would get to grade level before 2nd grade. He is now going into 2nd grade reading...slowly but reading! His teacher was amazed at his progress. He would not have been able to accomplish this with just home help. Belinda has been so patient and encouraging to my son. Her teaching methods are individualized specifically to his learning style. She has years of experience and I am privileged to have her tutor my son.

Sharon was a wonderful tutor for our daughter who is starting the 2nd grade. My daughter struggles with reading, and gets frustrated easily. My daughter had 6 sessions with her that were designed to get her ready for the 2nd grade. During these 6 sessions she progressed rapidly and now enjoys reading. I am very grateful for Sharon for taking the time to work with my daughter and for finding creative and fun games that made reading fun.

We have continued that to present time. My son's improvement has been amazing and at the end of 2nd grade he was reading independently and at the level he should be. By continuing the sessions it has kept him confident about his reading and writing, which has given him a great start for 3rd grade. Tina has been flexible, reliable and respectful to my child's needs. I greatly recommend her.
