Renewable resources

Currently many plastics are made from non-renewable resources, what are some of the changes that will

influence plastics in the future?

Plastics clog up our oceans and create landfills that take up earth's plentiful natural resources. One reason plastics plastics are so popular is because they can be mass produced and their properties (sturdiness, tensile strength and in some cases their lightweight) make them ideal for use. If we are able to use completely renewable material like wing and solar power to make new materials that can be turned into compost (think paper straws . bamboo plates) then that would be a win-win.
