The Punnett square is a handy device for helping predict the probable genotypes resulting from a particular cross experiment.
For this question (Cross a pink-flowered four-o'clock with another pink-flowered four-o'clock. This crossing would be Rr times Rr.), you set up the square initially as follows:
You can then fill this in to indicate the various combinations of the two alleles:
What you'll find is that there would be a 25% probability of a red four-o'clock (RR), a 25% probability of a white four-o'clock (rr), and a 50% probability of a pick four o'clock (Rr).
