Hey Oumar! Thought I would tie my comment on your either question in with this one. The Second New Deal as a whole can be thought of as more aggressive federal programs than the first, which did little to prevent public outrage as the Great Depression persisted. (1) He setup the Works Progress Administration act to give those who were unemployed access to public works jobs. (2) He setup better supervision of unions and fair job compensation. (3) He created a pension plan for the country's aging population. (4) He organized anti-trust policies targeting big business (5) He increased federal spending and adjusted interest rates to in an attempt to once again improve the economy. Hope this helped!
