A 30°-60°-90° triangle has special properties so you know the ratio of the sides. If you can recognize this, it will help with some problems.
The ratio is as follows:
The side across from the 30° angle is x
The side across from the 90° angle is 2x - this is the hypotenuse
The side across from the 60° angle is x√3
I suggest you look up pictures of these triangles on Google for a better visual.
Since I knew this property, I was able to know the answer to this problem quickly. If you draw out this triangle and label the appropriate sides, you will find that the angle between the two forces is 60°. Next, the angle between the resultant force and the force P is 90°. Hope this helps!
