Hello Jess,
When answering these two interlinked questions, first do some research to see how much of Canada's population nationwide is currently (2019-2020) constituted by Baby Boomers in terms of a percentage. Then compare that percentage to the percentage of the Canadian population constituted by younger generations (Millennials, Generation X'ers, iGen, GenZ, etc.). Determine which of the given generations is the largest in size--both worldwide and specifically in regards to its constituted percentage of the entire Canadian population. If the largest of the listed generations (population wise) after the Baby Boomers chronologically speaking currently constitutes a dominant percentage of the Canadian national population, that can help you answer the second question in your prompt above. I will give you a hint in that the Baby Boomers USED TO BE the largest generation in terms of world population before one of the other aforementioned generations was born (I won't tell you which one it is though; that will be up to you to find that out as you do your research.)
In a nutshell: you can answer these two questions mathematically, historically, and literarily all at once. Good luck with the writing and mini-research involved with this assignment! And feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions related to the topic of discussion at hand.
