Is it easily available? Is it renewable or nonrenewable? How is the energy resource primarily used? (Often, but not always, the energy resources are used to generate electricity.) What are the advantages of this energy resource? What are the disadvantages of using this energy resource? How does using this resource affect the environment? What advancements in technology or research are needed to make this energy resource more efficient, more available, or less harmful? (Alternatively, you can choose to provide a more detailed explanation of one part of the Energy System Map that is of particular interest to you. For example, maybe you want to do some additional research on the process of “pyrolysis” or improvements in “smart grid” technology.)
