Hi Destiny!
The correct answer in this case is that heat flows from Hot Objects to Cold Objects. The atoms in hot objects have more energy and move around quickly. When something hot comes into contact with something cold, the atoms from the hot object bump into the atoms from the cold object. This collision transfers energy in the form of heat!
This is how boiling water on the stove works. The flame from the stove is hot, and transfer heat to the pot, which transfers heat to the water, causing the atoms to move around quickly and making the water boil.
